The Craic and Blonde
Founder Blonde left her home in Boston to trade the Big Green Monster for just...well, green! While studying in Ireland to receive her MBA, she would fill her free time cooking dishes that reminded her of home, which, for her, meant lots of Haitian food. Blonde took her skills to Boston’s farmers markets shortly after her return to the States, which garnered her new fans each weekend. She pays homage to Ireland in her own way: the “craic” is a nod to the good times had in the place that embraced her far-off culture with open arms, and became the birthplace of the traditional Haitian staple.
