If you ask founder Angela Packard what food really means to her, she would tell you that food is love—and then some. For the family-minded woman, food and memories go hand in hand whether you're barbecuing in the backyard or hosting Thanksgiving dinner, which is exactly how she got her start. In 2006, Angela's love of cooking blossomed; after purchasing her first house, she took on the daunting task of hosting her family's holiday dinner—a large feat considering she'd really only ever cooked for herself. In 2010, she created a rib rub for her husband, that quickly became a family favorite. And after losing her job in 2013, she took a huge leap and began making spice blends that could be used across the board. Sweet Is The Spice now has a line of completely organic, originally created blends that run the gamut from sweet to savory...and spicy.
