Sook and Roslynn, the women behind RAFT syrups, grew up experiencing the healing properties of botanicals firsthand; Sook’s mother was the daughter of a Chinese medical doctor, and Roslynn’s mother incorporated botanical tinctures into the family’s diet. The health benefits of botanicals are no historical secret, in fact, they inspired the first of what we know as cocktail mixers. The ladies respectively utilized the plants in their everyday lives, and soon joined forces to start making their own cocktail mixers that not only changed the flavor-scape of their drinks, but added real benefits of utilizing natural ingredients. The duo is all about harnessing as much of the good stuff as possible from plants, and with inspired flavors like Lemon Ginger and Hibiscus Lavender, we’d say it’s not just good, it’s great stuff.
