Liebe Is Jam

Born and raised in Stadecken Germany, Nicole Rutsch grew up on a farm. As a young girl she learned how to turn leftover fruit into jams and preserves, accompanying the homemade breads and butter made by her "Oma" (grandma).  

She has been living in the states since age 19, first in Chicago and then in New York. Finally amidst the taxi cabs, 24-hour neon lights and concrete, the jam bug bit her hard. Memories of making and eating jam with her grandmother inspired Nicole to begin making her own jams, combining traditional fruit flavors and adding a hint of something special. 

Her jams have a homemade "German Oma" feel with a twist of Brooklyn in them.
