In Roman mythology, “Liber” is the god of viticulture and freedom; in Latin, it literally translates to tree bark. Put the two together and you’ve got the complete creative embodiment of Liber & Co: a company founded by three friends who were inspired by innovative independence and a collective determination to create authentic, artisanal cocktail ingredients. This small-batch operation, based in Austin, TX, creates all of their products from scratch using raw, local ingredients. While the initial goal was to make tonics worthy of making the ultimate and decidedly daring gin and tonic, we think you’ll soon discover they not only nailed it, but are good for so much more.
