When founder Alan was young, he found true love in a jar of peanut butter. Over the course of his life, he found a way to incorporate the spread into nearly every meal (no exaggeration). If you called him obsessed, he’d call it an understatement; when Alan left the States to live abroad during his twenties, there was no peanut butter to be found, and his disappointment turned to desperation as he realized he would have to make his own or suffer the consequences. Now, Alan’s making handcrafted nut butters in California’s Bay Area, quick to turn peanut butter into everyone’s obsession.
