When teacher and mother Jeri Mesching was left with an empty nest after her children had outgrown life in their childhood home, she felt the void big time. While her family always came first, her love of cooking was a close second, and so she turned back to her old hobby as her house came to feel a little bit bigger. She filled her home (on the east shore of a lake in Hartland, Wisconsin) with scents of aromatic mustard seeds, crafting her Sweet & Tangy Mustard as a first product in the late 1980s. In 1995, East Shore Foods had a custom designed processing plant built, but their quality standards remain the same as they were when Jeri was cooking in her East Shore (Foods) home. And if you’re wondering what that home looks like, just look to the label!
