Spicy Bulgogi Sautéd Brussels Sprouts

Trim and halve Brussels sprouts lengthwise. 

Heat large cast-iron or metal skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add sesame or avocado oil and 1 tablespoon water to pan along with Brussels. Season with a sprinkle sea salt and toss to combine. Evenly spread sprouts in pan so each one is touching surface of pan.

Cover and cook 2 minutes. Remove lid and stir-fry uncovered 2 minutes more, stirring occasionally to brown all sides. Turn down heat if any appear too brown.

Once Brussels sprouts are caramelized, add sliced shallot or scallion and spicy Bulgogi starter and stir-fry 1-2 minutes more to coat and caramelize sprouts even more. Then turn off heat and transfer to serving platter. Garnish with crushed peanuts, if desired.
