Trim garlic scapes and place in bowl. Massage with olive oil and season with sea salt and pepper.
Heat grill to medium. Oil grill basket and add prepared scapes.
Grill 10 minutes, turning several times. Scapes are done when slightly browned on outside and tender on inside - similar to asparagus. Remove from grill, and sprinkle with touch more sea salt and squeeze of lemon juice.
